The CCK program has linked our students personally with farmers and business in the local area around real world issues. The project has increased our students, teachers and families awareness of the diversity of enterprise and innovative practices taking place in our own rural community. The students loved the ownership, responsibility and extension that came from producing a finished product in the book. As a teacher the collaborative teamwork that has been demonstrated by the students has been brilliant.
The CCK program has simply been a positive experience for students involved with a purposeful outcome. The process has really helped promote our school and extend our relationships locally. The added benefit is producing something of substance which is available to anyone around the world online.
