Visit Wirraminna

Wirraminna is a public park and can be visited any day of the year. Access to our Discovery and Learning Centre is by appointment. Please see below for more information.

Community Visits

We have large number of community groups as well as the general public visiting Wirraminna each year. The Discovery and Learning Centre is available for meetings and workshops. We have chairs and tables to cater for events of around 30 people. The park is open all year round to the general public however the Discovery and Learning Centre has restricted openings.

For your convenience, we have available a laptop computer that is connected to a large smart screen, with an in-built DVD player and Internet.

Venue Hire

Full day hire $100
Half day hire $50

If you require catering for your event, local groups are available for catering needs.

Morning tea cost is approx. $5-$8 per person
Light lunch cost is approx. $10-$12 per person.
Tea and coffee making facilities are available.

Tours

Self-guided walks are available of the award-winning bushland reserve or group tours can be arranged.

School Visits

Wirraminna attracts thousands of school students each year. We can offer support to schools to engage in cross-curriculum environmental education initiatives whilst at Wirraminna and follow up with in-school visits.

We ask that schools contribute $3 per student for visits which is a donation to our volunteer led facility.
